The Căluşari is a Romanian traditional folk dance. Those images present two different interpretations of this dance: one of it older, on the one hand, from 1974 and on the other hand more energic and the last one is a part of the floklore show from the “Golden Stag”- 2004, performed by three generations of dancers (from the oldest to the youngest).

Behind the fact that Căluşari dance is one of the best known traditional folk dance from Romania, those footages are also the most significant recording that Romanian Television Archive owns.
